Happy New Year!

We owed a belated devlog update re: 3 Seasons since it's been quite some time since our last one.

Last we wrote, we had recently hit 6k downloads and just over a year later, we're at a surprising 12k! We really can't begin to thank you all enough for your interest in our little game. If you enjoyed it and have not yet rated the game, we'd really appreciate that! It helps a lot for getting our game seen in the itch.io algorithm.

When we last posted, we were in the early stages of development of our +1 DLC, which included plans for extra content for the 3 existing routes (Yuto, Rye, and Sol) as well as a route for Briar, the spring spirit. Unfortunately development stalled over the course of the last year, and we haven't really made any progress since then. With 2 of our 3 team members starting new university programs and myself (vanade) overloaded with full-time work stress (and subsequently being creatively stifled for much of the year), we've been too mentally drained to make much headway. At times our guilt about that caused us to lose some hope ("is anyone even waiting for this?")

The supportive comments we got every now and then on our page really helped reignite our motivation to keep going with this goal: even if we don't respond right away, or even if you leave a review comment we can't reply to, we see and appreciate it all! Thank you so much for your love for our game and our season spirits. Thank you to anyone who has recommended our game to others, shared it on social media or streamed it! 

Rather than attempting to set a new release date this far out and adding pressure to ourselves, our goal is to work through the DLC development in small chunks over time until we have enough accomplished that we feel comfortable with setting a date. We'll be back to posting more regular development updates on our twitter, and consolidating those updates into longer posts for our tumblr and for longer devlog updates.

Here's to a productive year, and giving our troublemaking spring spirit Briar his long-awaited route!!
